GMAS Grade 9 & 10 Practice – with Information Extended Response Writing
This collection features reading and writing exercises aligned to the Georgia Milestones Assessment System (GMAS) with assignments suitable for Grades 9 & 10. Each practice assessment includes a reading selection or text set followed by questions featuring a mix of multiple choice questions and other item types as well as a Short Constructed Response prompt. The practice assessments also include an Extended Constructed Response question in the Information genre. It's important to note that while these exercises mirror the GMAS structure and rigor, they are not direct practice for the American Literature assessment. Rather, they focus on reinforcing a wide range of reading and writing skills as outlined by the Georgia Standards of Excellence. Each question is accompanied by student-friendly feedback to strengthen understanding and growth.
